     I. Working Principle

     SCR denitrification technology utilizes a catalyst to promote a chemical reaction between ammonia (NH3) and NOx, converting NOx into harmless nitrogen gas (N2) and water vapor (H2O). This reaction is selective and only occurs in the presence of a catalyst, hence the name "Selective Catalytic Reduction." In the SCR denitrification system, ammonia water (NH3·H2O) or a urea aqueous solution is used as the reducing agent, injected into the flue gas to react with NOx under the action of the catalyst.


     II. Main Equipment Components

  1. SCR Catalyst: One of the core components of the SCR denitrification system. SCR catalysts typically use active metal catalysts, such as oxides of vanadium, tungsten, titanium, and other elements. These catalysts have excellent catalytic activity and stability, effectively promoting the SCR reaction.
  2. Ammonia Water Injection System: Used to inject ammonia water into the flue gas to provide the reducing agent required for the SCR reaction. Ammonia water is usually stored in an ammonia water storage tank in solution form, transported to the injection system via a pumping system, and then evenly sprayed into the flue gas.
  3. Denitrification Reactor: The denitrification reactor is the main site where the SCR reaction takes place in the SCR system. In the denitrification reactor, ammonia water is fully mixed with the flue gas, contacts the SCR catalyst, and undergoes the SCR reaction, converting NOx into harmless nitrogen gas and water vapor.
